During October we were in Stromboli (Isole Eolie), a fascinating and particular island. Here mountain and sea live strictly correlated as very few other places.
The way up to the volcano begins just from the last houses of the village. It takes from 2 to 3 hours and leads to Pizzo sopra la Fossa, a great panoramic point of view to see the craters and the volcano’s activity.
The show is amazing! You cannot get not touched while you see the red magma mixed to the orange sunset time…
In collaboration with the volcanology trekking agency Il Vulcano a Piedi we climbed up every evening almost, helped by the good weather.
