Via Ferrata – M. Zermula e M. Canin

Strange summer but…no raining weekend finally!
We did Via Ferrata Monte Zermula, with Ingrid and young Victor and Simon, on Saturday. A relatively short and well-equipped route that leads on a panoramic top. On the way back we chose the “Via delle Trincee”, a typical First World War route, partially engraves into the rocks, where it is possible to see a lot of military posts.

On Sunday we did Via Ferrata Julia on M. Canin, a Julian Alps classic route, optimally re-equipped recently. Due to abundant winter snow fall, there is still a lot of snow so it’s advisable to wear ice-axe and crampons to reach Via Ferrata starting point.

Congratulations at Roberto and Andrea for their first experience with ice-axe and crampons!
