MONT BLANC

Two days dedicated to climb the highest top of the Alps. On Friday we go up, by cableway and train, till the Nid d’Aigle, starting point for the French Normal route to Mont Blanc. Due to bad weather we chose to stay overnight at Tete Rousse Hut, 700m lower than the usual Gouter Hut. We spent pacefully the evening in the rain, a bit worried about the day after…

Just some hours sleeping till the wake up time at 1:30 a.m.: quick breakfast, went out and…what a surprise, the sky is completely starry! We reached the top in a good time and with a gorgeous view! We cannot have a too long break because we are in a hurry for the appointment with train. On a wonderful day like this seems you can touch the sky and that’s enough to be paid off.
